26 Mar There’s No Need To Worry About Retraining At Healthy Feet
When we talk to potential new Healthy Feet practitioners, a big worry for them is retraining.
A career change can be a hugely exciting prospect, but it can also mean taking time out from your current job to retrain and having to pay expensive fees and feeling out of your comfort zone.
The good news is that is not the case with a Healthy Feet Mobile Clinic franchise.
So I wanted to answer some of the burning questions we get asked about training to be a foot care practitioner; how long it takes, the qualification you receive and the support you get along the way:
How long does it take to qualify?
It can take as little as 3 months to qualify to be a foot health practitioner depending on your commitments.
It’s a distance learning course so you can fit it around your current job and family commitments, which makes a really flexible way to retrain.
We find that if you have dedicated time for the course you can complete the training in 3 months, and if you work full time and have limited time to spare it can take up 6 months to complete.
The beauty of this kind of training is that it’s totally up to you how long you take to complete the course, there is absolutely no pressure.
What is the exact qualification you receive?
At the end of your training, you will be a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner Level 4 Diploma.
What support will I get while I’m training?
While you are working on your qualification we will be available to you 24hrs a day for any questions you may have during the course.
You will also be able to shadow us at work so you can get an in-depth understanding of what you’re learning.
We’ve found this has helped a lot of our trainees get better prepared for any questions asked during the course and for your practical clinical training.
What support will I get when I’ve finished training?
We will provide you with all the business and marketing training you need prior to qualifying.
This will enable you to start working as soon as you had qualified.
We are also available to you 24hrs a day for any questions or queries you have and are able to offer advice whenever needed.
What ongoing support/training will I receive?
To make sure you are always developing your skills we will fund Continued Personal Development Foot Care courses, throughout the year.
These courses are a great way to further your knowledge and experience in foot care as well as build confidence in any areas that you feel you need to improve on.
There is also support available as and when it’s required on an ongoing and individual basis. We regularly use Skype to discuss specific queries and marketing strategies with our franchisees.
